Our News Partners at KWTX are reporting that a Waco resident has finally come forward to claim the prize on a winning Powerball ticket that was sold on, or prior to, the June 23rd drawing.

The ticket was sold at the H-E-B store at 1821 South Valley Mills Dr. in Waco. The drawing on June 23rd was worth $40 million dollars. The lucky Fairfield resident scored a $1 million dollar prize after matching all 5 numbers. They did not get the Powerball bonus.

The winning numbers that day were 16, 29, 43, 45, and 56. The Powerball number was 25. So if you live in Fairfield and one of your neighbors is installing a new in-ground pool this week they may have been the lucky winner!
