Chip and Joanna Gaines have announced they are launching their hit show 'Fixer Upper' on the Magnolia Network in 2021.

The original show aired for five seasons on HGTV before coming to an end.

In a statement shared by KCEN, Chip said, 'We knew we needed a break and a moment to catch our breath. But we also knew we weren’t done dreaming about ways to make old things new again."

The show is currently looking for homes in the Waco area that might be a good fit to be on the show.

If you live within 30 miles of Waco and are a current homeowner looking to renovate, then you may qualify.

Here's a list of other eligible items required to be on the show.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Have at least $50,000 for renovations.
  • Turn over complete design to Chip and Joanna and their design team.
  • Be able to start your project in fall of 2020 and relocate while the renovation is going on.
If you think you would be a good candidate you can send an email to casting@magnolia.com.
Deadline reports that the Magnolia Network was originally meant to premiere on October 4, 2020, but was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. If you're wondering if you'll get the channel, the answer lies in your current TV or streaming package's channels list. Do you get the DIY Network? Then you'll get Magnolia, since it's just taking over DIY.
