Flood Advisory Issued For Bell County

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for Bell County.

Thunderstorms are producing heavy rain and flooding in parts of central Texas this morning. Excessive run off from these storms will cause urban and small stream flooding. Areas affected will include Killeen, Temple, Copperas Cove, Belton, Fort Hood and Harker Heights.

Run off from heavy rainfall will cause water to rise onto highways, streets, and underpasses. Do not attempt to cross water covered roadways.
