Flu Related Absences Cause Centex School District to Close for Three Days
Clifton ISD has decided to clean house.
After a surge in health-related absences over the past week the Clifton School District has decided to cancel classes until February 5th. KWTX reports that Clifton School officials came to the decision after 20% of their teachers and students missed school with cold or flu symptoms.
While the campus remains closed, cleaning crews will go over the school buildings from top to bottom to clean and disinfect the districts three different campuses.
Clifton ISD has a population of around 1000 students. The school district began sharing news of the closure via social media on Tuesday afternoon.
