Fort Hood Soldier Killed In Non-Combat Incident In Iraq
The Fort Hood Press Center is reporting the non-combat death of Pfc. Brian Patrick Odiorne on February 20th, in Al Anbar Province.
Odiorne's death is being investigated by Special Agents of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command and not much additional information is available yet.
Brian Odiorne was from Ware, Massachusetts, entered active-duty military service as a cannon crew member in 2015. Odiorne's service awards included the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Army Service Medal. The Army will posthumously award him the Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal and Overseas Service Ribbon.
