Here’s What’s Happening at This Year’s Central Texas State Fair
The Central Texas State Fair is back at the Bell County Expo Center September 2-5, and we've got your free tickets.
Welcome Back, Ol' Friend. We've Missed You.
The Central Texas State Fair is back in 2021 after a year off due to the pandemic, and with it comes everything you love about the fair.
In addition to the PBR Touring Pro, The Demolition Derby, The Mutton Bustin' Championships, The Livestock Shows and of course, the Carnival, this year's fair will feature four great nights of live music. Best of all, the concerts are free with regular fair admission.
So, Who's Playing?
This years lineup is chock-full of some Texas Country favorites.
Wade Bowen gets it started on opening night, Thursday, September 2.
Pat Green brings in the weekend on Friday, September 3 following the demo derby.
Saturday night features Flatland Calvary after the PBR Touring Pro event.
Aaron Watson closes the weekend with his show after the PBR Touring Pro Sunday night.
What Else Should We Expect?
The live music is certainly a main event, but the Central Texas State Fair has something for everyone. Just showing up and cruising the fairgrounds offers a variety of fun. Ride the rides, play the carnival games, try the food.
There's so much fun to pack into a night at the fair that you may want to make multiple visits just to make sure you hit everything.
The Demolition Derby, Mutton Bustin', and two nights of Pro Bull Riding are also great reasons to visit the fair this year.
