Game On! Houston, Texas Airport Presses Start On New Amenity
Air travel can just be the worst sometimes can't it? Flights change gates, people are generally a little more short tempered. sometimes even the little ones are just crying all the time due to various reasons. So for this reason, sometimes we need a little bit of a break during our time in the airport.
Thankfully, others in air travel thought the same thing. Various amenities are placed in airports in the United States and internationally to help us get through tough travel times. Some are more unique than others, and of course this applies to Texas.
Here in Texas, that last statement rings true. If you've ever been to the Austin or Dallas airport, you've probably seen something rare that you haven't seen at other airports. But we're talking about another airport in the state, William P. Hobby airport in Houston.
A New Amenity In The Houston International Terminal
According to CultureMap Austin, the Houston airport now houses a game lounge inside its airport. Known as Gameway, it holds a multitude of consoles, such as Xbox, PlayStation, and even gaming PCs. What's even cooler is that the gaming PCs have high speed internet ready to go.
So long story short, this area is perfect for those wanting to literally game on-the-go. However, this isn't the first Gameway in Texas. Remember how we mentioned the Dallas airport earlier?
As it turns out, according to CultureMap Austin, the company actually started in Texas. The first locations for the company were actually in the Dallas airport, two of them even! So the main question now is, when is a location coming to the Austin airport?
