Are we alone in the universe? Probably not. The Pentagon has just established the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) Task Force to look into what we used to call UFOs.

I've stated before that I have never seen a ghost or a UFO, but do I believe in such things? I want to, yes, but I've only seen these things on other people's video. For example, the three videos the Pentagon declassified from Navy pilots aboard the USS Nimitz and the USS Roosevelt.

These videos are considered "official documentation" of UFOs by a lot of people, including the military.

We may soon find out some answers. KCEN is reporting that the Pentagon has established the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) Task Force.

This task force will, according to a recent news release from the Pentagon, “improve [the Department of Defense's] understanding of, and gain insight into, the nature and origins of UAPs."

"As DOD has stated previously, the safety of our personnel and the security of our operations are of paramount concern," Pentagon officials write. "The Department of Defense and the military departments take any incursions by unauthorized aircraft into our training ranges or designated airspace very seriously and examine each report. This includes examinations of incursions that are initially reported as UAP when the observer cannot immediately identify what he or she is observing."

No word yet if Agents Mulder and Scully will lead the task force, but let's hope so. They know their stuff.
