(San Antonio, TX) Working at any restaurant in Texas is hard work. But that hard workday should never involve being sexually assaulted at work.

According to My San Antonio, there is a woman who was working at a restaurant in San Antonio and was dealing with being sexually assaulted at work and she has now filed a lawsuit against her former employers.

Where Did This Alleged Assault Take Place?

The lawsuit was filed on March 19th, 2025 against Chu Yu Kim who is the owner of Kim’s Galbi a Korean BBQ restaurant.

The plaintiff in the case is Won Jung Oh and she claims that she was threatened to revoke her green card if she refused.

At the time not only Oh but also her two sons were maintaining in legal immigration status due to Kim sponsoring their green cards.

The Sexual Assault Happened on Multiple Occasions

According to court documents, the plaintiff claims she was forced to do sexual acts on at least five occasions, with the most recent taking place on August 29th, 2023.

Beyond threatening immigration status it’s alleged that the business owner would also deny payment of earned wages from the restaurant.

How Much is the Lawsuit?

In this case the plaintiff is seeking between $250,000 and $1 million dollars.

There has been no comment made by the restaurant owner regarding this case.

The restaurant is still open for business at 4527 Goldfield Drive in San Antonio, Texas.
