(KNUE-FM) Living in the great state of Texas is something all Texans should be proud of. We live in a beautiful state that has a lot of things going on. While Texas might not be perfect, we are in much better shape than a lot of states in our country. So, I wanted to put together a list of 15 things that make Texans proud to be from Texas.

The Culture That Makes Texas Special

Over the past decade we have seen the population increase drastically in Texas. As of 2013, it was 26.4 million, currently we are over 31.29 million people. There is obviously a reason that more people continue to move to Texas and some of the things that made our list are the very same reasons that more people are moving to the Lone Star State.

Texas Pride Is Different Than Anywhere Else

Having lived in other places, there is a level of pride among Texans that is admirable. There are other states that have very little state pride. It’s truly amazing to see so many Texas flags flying high as you drive around towns and cities across our home state.
