
If You Just Got Dumped in Texas, You’re in Luck
It’s a sad reality that people often dump the person they’re seeing right before Valentine’s Day. For those of us in Texas, there’s a bright side.
I would imagine we’ve all been there before. Not necessarily right before Valentine’s Day. But we’ve probably all been dumped at some point.
I’ve had my heart ripped out and stopped on more than once in my life. So, I know the sucky emotions you’re experiencing right now if it happened to you recently.

I also realize it’s not easy to just move on and get over it. It’s a little easier if it was a fairly short relationship. But if it happened to you after being with the person for years, you’re probably in for a few rough months at the very least.

When you finally decide to get back out there and play the field again, it doesn’t get much better than the Lone Star State. A timely study by our friends at WalletHub found that Texas was one of the best states for singles: the fourth best to be specific.
