Holiday Magic Returns with Blue Bell’s Seasonal Flavors
(East Texas) It's the weirdest thing, well, maybe not to Texans! As the temperatures begin to fall and it gets cold in the Lone Star State, it seems as if we enjoy a bowl of ice cream even more than when it's 103 degrees with a heat index of 108° outside. So, while the thermometer may say it's 52°, 38°, or 24 degrees, Texans will still pull out that golden rimmed half-gallon of Blue Bell ice cream and dip that ice cream scoop inside and fill up a bowl with their favorite flavor!

Blue Bell’s Holiday Flavors Are Back
With Thanksgiving and Christmas quickly approaching, the most-loved ice cream in Texas has released several holiday flavors that have Texans, like myself, overjoyed. Blue Bell has restocked our grocery store freezers with:
- Christmas Cookies
- Peppermint
- Peppermint Bark

Christmas Cookies Is the Star of the Season
I know when I go to the grocery store this weekend, I'm picking up a half-gallon or two of Christmas Cookies and Peppermint for sure. Now, if you didn't get a taste of Christmas Cookies last year, let me tell you what you're missing out on. A sugar cookie-flavored ice cream with pieces of chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and sugar cookies mixed with red sprinkles and a green icing swirl that completes the holiday look.
Holiday Traditions Made Sweeter in Texas
When you get a bite of snickerdoodle and the red sprinkles, it's magic! Another holiday favorite of mine that is back is Peppermint. I can remember going to an ice cream shop as a kid with my grandmother, and she would always get a scoop of peppermint along with a separate scoop of butter brickle. She turned me on to Peppermint, and Blue Bell's version is spot on.
Limited Time Only — Grab Yours Soon
These holiday flavors, as they say, are only available for a limited time. I just hope that Blue Bell adds Classic Pecan Pie to its full-time lineup or that it lasts through Christmas, along with Christmas Cookies, Peppermint, and Peppermint Bark.
Don't be surprised if you see me with a buggy full of these Christmas and holiday flavors because I'll be stocking my deep freeze up with these so I can enjoy them when it's 103 degrees with a heat index of 108° in the summer!
