  • Here's an interesting fact, the United States Postal Service is the only shipping company that ships cremated remains, be it human or pet ashes, anywhere in the U.S. It's just a fact.

Now, sending a letter across Texas or anywhere else in the U.S. is as easy as sticking a stamp on an envelope and placing it in a blue letterbox. But when it comes to shipping items across the country, things can become a bit more interesting because there is a list of items that you absolutely cannot send through the United States Postal Service (USPS) and another list of highly restricted things you can send.

So while you're out braving the traffic on Loop 281 and Judson Rd. in Longview, Texas, or along S. That innocent set of wireless headphones or those few bottles of nail polish you neatly protected and packed could be against the law and banned from being mailed.

So while you're packing those gifts away to be mailed, you'll want to know what items are banned so you can send them using a different carrier. As a reminder, those holiday mailing deadlines are quickly approaching too.
