
Billy Joel Named Texas Featured Fugitive, Cash Reward Offered
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has released the featured fugitive for the month of February. A $6,000 cash reward is even offered for any information leading to his arrest.
Billy Joel Wanted for Assault
35-year-old Billy Joel Alfaro, from Sugar Land, Texas, has been wanted since August 2, 2025 out of Fort Bend County for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. This comes after he was alleged to be involved in shots fired at a Fort Bend County Sheriff's Deputy.
During this time, Alfaro was already wanted out of Bexar County and Brazoria County for assault and a probation violation, respectively.
Alfaro's criminal history includes prior convictions of aggravated assault with deadly weapon from 2009 and multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance in 2023.

Alfaro has tattoos on his chest, abdomen, right wrist, and both upper arms. He stands at 5 feet 5 inches and weighs 180 pounds.
How to Submit a Tip for the Cash Reward
If you have any information that could lead to the arrest of Billy Joel Alfaro, you may be eligible for the $6,000 cash reward. In order to submit an anonymous tip through Texas Crime Stoppers, you must adhere to one of three methods:
