Video Shows Massive Fight Break Out During A Lubbock Youth Basketball Tournament

Video posted on Instagram over the weekend shows a reported fight breaking out involving a whole lot of people. But this fight didn't happen at a club or restaurant or a bar. This brawl broke out during a basketball tournament.

The video posted by the account the806er shows a massive fight break out during what looks to be a youth basketball tournament somewhere in Lubbock. The video shows parents and youth involved in the fight with what looks like one officer on the scene attempting to break up the fights. You can see the video below. Not much is known about what happened afterwards, what started the altercation, or if anyone was arrested.

Fighting at youth sporting events around the country has been picking up lately. Even parents are getting in on the fighting. We hope it doesn't become more common around here. These tournament are meant to be for competition and fun. Not a place for violence.
