Laura Cohn Is Putting Belton On The Map

Her intention in writing this particular workbook was to serve professionals and small business owners who sometimes struggle with sales. Laura was probably trying to do a good thing while also being informative and helpful to businesses, but the Belton local was recognized today by the Global Business Development Association, which included her workbook in its Top 10 Business Development Books of the Month on LinkedIn.

How Does One Achieve Something So Wonderful?

This is amazing! It’s something I think she should definitely be proud of, considering she's been in the internet marketing business for over a decade. But when she was let go from her job last year, that’s when she was really able to focus on growing her independent contracting business, 416 Sales. She didn’t even plan on writing a workbook. She had volunteered to give a presentation on local SEO for networking groups that she belonged to, but they asked her to speak about sales without being pushy instead. Once she prepared for the presentation, that’s when she realized her approach to sales might help people who don’t enjoy selling.

She felt that her approach didn’t come from sales training or even books. It came from life experiences and the things she learned along the way. Because of those experiences, she was able to become a top-performing sales closer throughout her career.
