Killeen Assistant City Manager Accused of Indecent Assault at Retirement Party
Former Killeen Assistant City Manager Jeffrey Reynolds is back in the news, and this time, not for positive reasons. According to KDH News, Reynolds was recently arrested and released on Friday after being accused of an incident involving a city employee at a retirement party.

Retirement Party Assault Allegations Shake Killeen
The affidavit alleges that Reynolds approached a female employee while attending a city-sponsored retirement party in April and made a sexually oriented comment regarding the low-cut nature of her quarter-zip sweater. The document further states that Reynolds initiated unwanted physical contact, grabbing and pulling the zipper area in a manner that the individual believed was intended to expose her breasts.
What Did Reynolds Say What Happended That Day?
According to the affidavit, Reynolds allegedly continued to make comments, such as "let me see," while assertively attempting to fondle the zipper area. The allegations claim that Reynolds pulled the sweater in a way that restricted the victim's movement; the individual reportedly pleaded with Reynolds to stop before managing to move away. The affidavit also notes that around the time of the incident, a witness overheard Reynolds making an inappropriate sexual remark after entering the employee's office. Reynolds denies any physical contact or harassing behavior. Instead, he characterizes the interaction as a routine conversation in which he was asking why she had dressed down.
At the time of the incident, Reynolds was reportedly in the running to take over as interim city manager following the retirement of Kent Cagle. As of now, Reynolds has not provided a further statement, and the situation remains an ongoing story.
