I love how the city of Killeen is beginning to expand its horizons when it comes to building cultural experiences for everyone. From new restaurants and breweries to open-mic festivals, and now even art shows, it truly warms my heart to see events like these taking place in our community. I remember a time when the city didn’t always get the best reputation for events or showcasing certain experiences. But now, those nonbelievers who didn’t think our city could be a beautiful place to experience art, culture, and creativity truly have their foot in their mouth!

On Saturday, September 26, from noon to 8 PM, the city will be celebrating the artwork and creativity of local artists. We’re talking handmade goods and unique creations from talented artists and entrepreneurs from all around the area. From jewelry makers and crafters to fashion designers and other creative entrepreneurs, you’re going to see it all at this event!

All of this will take place at the Killeen Arts & Activities Center. And as of right now, the center is accepting applications from photographers, jewelry makers, fashion designers, creative entrepreneurs, crafters, and all other types of artists who want to showcase their work.
