The notice was issued after a water main break occurred, prompting emergency repairs. A city water crew was dispatched to the site, where they needed to isolate the water main to perform the necessary repairs. The crew remained on-site until all work was completed and full water service was restored to the area. Following the repairs, it took approximately 24 to 48 hours to collect and test water samples to ensure the safety and quality of the water supply. Based on the test results, the boil water notice has now been officially lifted for the affected addresses.
