One of the largest bond amounts in Bell County may have just been posted for 17-year-old Killeen man Reshawn Raynel Isaiah Ellison, who is accused of shooting three individuals—leaving two injured and one dead—according to KCENT.

This morning at 9 o’clock, Ellison was booked into the Bell County Jail after it was determined that he would be tried as an adult for the alleged crimes. That’s when his bond was increased—from an initial $250,000 to a total of $2 million.

Ellison faces aggravated assault charges as well as a murder charge stemming from a notorious and dangerous event that took place on March 25. The shooting, which occurred in Killeen, left the community shaken. Authorities reported that Jahid Hombre Black was killed, and Black’s sons were injured during the incident, which involved Ellison—who was 16 years old at the time. The shooting took place in the 6100 block of Griffith Loop. When officials arrived on the scene, they found Black suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. His sons were also injured, and Black was later pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Killeen Police Department, the shooting began after Black parked his vehicle in front of Ellison’s residence. While the exact details of the interaction remain unclear, investigators say that’s when Ellison allegedly fired his weapon toward the vehicle.
