Grab Your Skates! Killeen Announces Return Of The Winter Skate Bash
Grab your skateboard, skates, or rollerblades—it’s time to roll out, City of Killeen. According to the Killeen Daily Herald, KPR, also known as the Killeen Parks and Recreation Department, will be hosting its annual Winter Skate Bash on Friday, January 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will take place at Rotary Club Children’s Park, located at 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

What Can The Residents Of Killeen Expect This Year At The Winter Skate Bash?
Attendees can expect music and plenty of food trucks, creating a lively and family-friendly atmosphere. Residents are strongly encouraged to bring rollerblades, scooters, skateboards, and, most importantly, their energy and excitement. Kaitlyn Roberts, recreation manager for Killeen Parks and Recreation, stated that since launching the Skate Bash last fall, they’ve seen how skating brings families and neighbors together in a positive way. She added that the Winter Skate Bash continues that tradition by offering the community a fun and active way to connect during the cooler months.
Come Out And Enjoy The Fun With The Rest Of The City
Skaters are encouraged to wear protective gear and helmets to ensure everyone stays safe while having a great time. The event is open to all skill levels, making it a perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, meet new people, and roll into winter with fun and community spirit.
