Yesterday, the Brenham Independent School District expressed deep gratitude for the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement, EMS, fire and rescue teams, and the many community members who have offered their support in the search for the missing student. In a statement, the district said, “Yesterday, during severe weather that impacted our area, a student from Brenham was caught in floodwaters and is now, unfortunately, missing. Our hearts are with the student’s family, and we ask our community to keep them in their thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.”More than a dozen agencies, including the Brenham Fire Department, are participating in the search efforts.
