What Helped A Mother In Texas Not Fall For A Scam Regarding Child Kidnapping?

EverythingLubbock revealed the details of the moment. Jennifer Knox was having a normal day until she received a phone that would alarm any parent:

Per Knox: "I answer it and the first thing I hear is what sounds like a young girl crying, saying, ‘Mommy, I’m scared. Like, Mommy, help me.’ And then an adult male came on and called me by my name and said, We have your daughter.”

Acting quickly, she hit the feature on her phone that allowed recording of calls. This seemed to anger the unknown person calling Knox. Following the ending of the call, Knox immediately phoned the school where her children were.

The children were found to be safe and sound, with multiple school personnel confirming they were on the campus grounds. For Knox, the stress went away after seeing her children for pickup at the school:

“It was just, it was a mix of, like, relief. And since I wasn’t freaking out any more then it was anger, because how evil do you have to be to do that to somebody?”
