Texas Woman Arrested For Being Caught On Video Trying To Choke An Innocent Baby
A 23-year-old woman from Texas, Ledaxjia Montgomery, was arrested by Waco police on December 2 for allegedly trying to strangle a toddler, reportedly using a pacifier holder, according to KWTX.
HOW COULD SOMEONE DO SOMETHING SO TERRIBLE TO AN INNOCENT CHILD?
Ledaxjia Montgomery faces charges of tampering with evidence and assault by strangulation, a third-degree felony, and is currently being held at Mclennan County jail on a $12,500 bond. A disturbing video released on May 16, 2024, shows her restricting the blood flow and breathing of a 15-month-old toddler. This video was initially shown to Child Protective Services, but no footage was provided at that time for their investigation and authorities noted that the children were living with Montgomery and did not appear to have any injuries.
WHAT IS NEXT FOR LEDAXJIA MONTGOMERY?
Police reported that Montgomery deleted her social media account after the video began to gain attention during her police interview and allegedly refused to reactivate it. In November, the video resurfaced on social media, prompting police to advance their investigation. Despite denying that she was the woman in the video while in custody, she acknowledged that the individual looked like her when a warrant was issued. Furthermore, the arrest warrant revealed that Montgomery was involved in a separate case where another woman accused her of beating and torturing her children. At this point, Montgomery could be facing serious legal troubles ahead.
