
Texas Mother Charged After Drowning Deaths Of Toddlers Reveal Cocaine Exposure
A 23-year-old Katy mother, Laura Nicholson, has been charged in a case that many find especially shocking, involving the deaths of her children. According to KWTX, Laura Nicholson was charged with allegedly drowning her children, and reports indicate that cocaine was found in the toddlers’ systems.

What Happended On February 11th?
The incident occurred on February 11, when detectives responded to the 21000 block of Creek Edge Court after reports of a possible drowning involving two female toddlers, ages 2 and 3. Fox News reported that the children lived with their mother and grandparents, and that the grandmother discovered the toddlers in the pool after returning from running errands.
What Did Investigators Report?
Investigators later determined that both children had cocaine in their systems. According to the sheriff’s office, investigators said that Laura had fallen asleep on the couch and was awakened by her mother screaming and yelling.
What Are The Charges?
On May 8, Nicholson was formally charged with two counts of injury to a child resulting in the deaths of her daughters. She is currently being held in the Lee County Jail in Florida and is awaiting extradition to Harris County.
