Major arrest made in Waco gang-related aggravated robbery case
According to KWTX, Brian Lamont Johnson has been identified as a teenager and an alleged member of a criminal street gang who pistol-whipped another gang member in July. Authorities say the victim was forced at gunpoint by a rival gang to disrespect his own gang, and his phone was stolen during the incident.

Johnson was arrested Sunday and is being held on a $30,000 bond on an aggravated robbery charge. The incident took place in July at the Riverside Apartments in Waco.
Waco’s Most Wanted? Confirmed gang member facing heavy charges in rival robbery
Court documents state that Johnson and six other juveniles, who were also members of a street gang, surrounded a man outside his apartment. Investigators identified the victim as a member of a rival gang, which was reportedly part of an ongoing feud.
According to the affidavit, the men were dressed in ski masks and ordered the victim to disrespect his gang by displaying its signs upside down — a known sign of disrespect. After publicly humiliating him, the suspects demanded his ski mask and shoes. When the victim refused and attempted to escape through a breezeway, the group surrounded him, preventing him from getting away.
