EMERGENCY BOIL WATER NOTICE IN KILLEEN TEXAS

A water crew will need to isolate the water main for repairs after a private contractor damaged it. According to city officials, water will remain available on site until the repairs are completed and services are fully restored. After the repairs are finished, a water quality sample will be collected the following day, with results expected within 24 to 48 hours. The emergency boil water notice was issued today, and residents in the affected area are advised to boil all water before use until the sampling confirms that no contamination is present.

Once the test results confirm the absence of contamination, a Public notice will be made available on the city of Killeen website and through the Boiling Water hotline at 254-501-6515 to announce the lifting of the notice.
