After 70+ Years, Famous Food Company Now Ending Texas Delivery
Texas roads are most likely not going to be getting any less crowded any time soon, but beginning in November, we will no longer see any of the iconic yellow trucks that have been crossing the highways for generations. Growing up, pizza delivery was much different than what we imagine today, and it was always paired with frozen treats because the pizza itself was also frozen.

Schwan's has been in operation since my mother was born in 1952 and when you grew up in a small rural area, there was no greater sight than the big yellow truck heading down your drive filled with all kinds of deep freeze items that you simply couldn't find any of the local stores.
The business of delivering food to these rural areas will now be ending as the company, which rebranded their delivery service as Yelloh a couple of years ago, will no longer be bringing those Christmas like surprises to doorsteps any longer.

The food distribution company will remain in existence and that most likely means several of the products will still be available in various capacities, but the catalog type days of picking out what you want and having it arrive are just about exhausted.
