As over the top as Kiss founding members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons can be, their new Texas restaurant should be a very cool place to eat, drink and chill.

Rock & Brews is a restaurant chain that was started in 2010 by rock ‘n’ roll promoter Dave Furano, industry merchandiser Dell Furano, restaurateur Michael Zislis and KISS band members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.

Their newest Texas location, the 3rd in the lone star state, is located in Grapevine, Texas at 520 W. State Hwy 114.

Rock & Brews has a couple of dozen restaurants scattered over 8 states. The other Texas R 'n B's are in The Colony and San Antonio.

Walking inside Rock & Brews Grapevine is like taking a trip through rock ‘n’ roll history. The walls and ceilings are lined with posters of famed rock bands from the Grateful Dead and Fleetwood Mac to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. Murals of Willie Nelson, Aretha Franklin, Bono, Bruce Springsteen, and even Taylor Swift look down upon patrons around the room. - star-telegram

Other cool things in the restaurant include an art print by Slash and menu's shaped like vinyl records. You can choose from appetizers, "opening acts" as they're labeled like jalapeno poppers, fried calamari, nachos and more. The also serve salads, wings and pizza.

Entrées include blackened chicken pasta, ribs, filet mignon and more. They also have burgers, one of which is named after the king of shock rock, Alice Cooper.

Alice once had a restaurant of his own, Alice Cooper'stown, in Phoenix. Rock and Brews also have desserts and a special menu just for dogs!

Fido can chomp along with you on his own burger patty, chicken breast or bacon strips.
