City of Killeen employees are looking forward to a raise coming their way as part of the newly approved fiscal year budget for 2020.  Brandon Hamilton with KWTX News 10 reports the budget was approved by a unanimous vote Tuesday evening.

Killeen Mayor Jose Segarra called the meeting "smooth" and reported that the new budget does not call for any cuts to services, nor does it call for a tax rate increase for property owners. Utility rates are also not expected to change.

More good news from the meetings includes that The Hop service will not have to be reduced further than it has been in recent years. Current routes across Killeen will be able to continue.
