Rusty became the chief forecaster at KWTX News 10 in 1989 and watched over the creation of one of the most advanced forecast centers in Central Texas. Rusty has been one of the longest-serving forecasters in the area as he is only the 4th person to hold the job in the 64-year history of the company.
Rusty has provided the weather on our group of radio stations for years so he will also be missed on the radio side of life as well. Rusty began his career on the radio while he was still a high school student in his home town of Victoria, Texas.
