KWTX Wins Two Lone Star Emmy Awards

Congrats to our local station KWTX for their award winning programming.

KWTX picked up two Lone Star Emmy Awards for their programming. They brought home the gold this past Saturday night with the documentary that featured local Vietnam veterans, "We Can't Forget Vietnam", and "A Monster In The House".

"We Can't Forget Vietnam" was produced by Don Smith and Jim Peeler, and is told through the voices of Central Texas Vietnam Veterans.

"A Monster In The House" was a report by Tara Mergener, and editors Clint Webb and Jim Peeler, which featured a Lorena girl who had been victimized by a friend of the family, and how her father set a trap to catch her attacker.
