At 18, Lauren Alaina has already released a debut album ('Wildflower') and is working on a followup. Despite having a successful career and achieving considerable fame, the Season 10 'American Idol' runner-up celebrated a huge milestone in her life on Friday (May 31) -- she graduated high school!

Alaina's platinum blonde hair popped against the red cap and gown she wore as part of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's graduating class of 2013. In a video from the commencement services, the singer mugged for the camera, blowing kisses while waiting to grab her diploma as an official graduate.. When her full name -- Lauren Alaina Suddeth -- was called, she was met with a chorus of cheers, as though she were about to take the stage and perform for fans.

Her mother Kristy Suddeth also tweeted a picture of her baby girl with a cake celebrating her big day. Congrats, Lauren!

While most of her classmates and fellow graduates are off to college and figuring out what they want to do with their lives, Alaina is working hard on her sophomore album effort. It's incredibly impressive that the singer never let her studies suffer while promoting her music and her career.
