Little Joe Y La Familia Benefit Concert at Temple, Texas ISD

Less than a week ago it was announced that Killeen-Temple, Texas area resident Little Joe Hernandez was receiving the National Endowment for the Arts highest recognition as a 2023 National Heritage Fellows recipient. In that article, you may recall that Little Joe was awarded his honorary high school diploma from Temple Independent School District while being recognized as one of the first 2 Temple Education Foundation’s (TEF) Distinguished Alumni Award.

What's next for Little Joe?

Now, that he has the alumni award in his trophy case, the band Little Joe y la Familia is already paying it forward with a special benefit concert with proceeds going to the Temple Education Foundation for use on teacher's grants, and student scholarships. According to a KCEN-TV article, tickets to the concert are on sale now.

How much is it to see Little Joe y la Familia in concert?

Tickets are only $15 dollars before fees, and can be purchased online with the Central Texas Tickets website. Ticket redemption will be via an e-ticket. You can order up to 50 at a time.

When is the show?

The performance will be this Friday night March 10, 2023. It is scheduled to happen between 7pm and 10 pm. Being a concert to benefit Temple Independent School District, it is safe to assume the performance will be appropriate for an all ages crowd.
