A 23-year-old woman faces a felony burglary charge after police say she was found with suspicious tools and items after allegedly breaking into a home.

Kayleigh Nichole Davis was arraigned Friday on a second-degree felony charge of burglary of a habituation. She was arrested Wednesday after police responded to a burglary call in the 1300 block of Missouri Drive in Killeen.

The victim told police that her home had been broken into and several items had been stolen. She and another witness said they saws a woman drive away in a brown Buick sedan after rummaging through abandoned property near the burglarized home prior to the break-in.

Police spotted the vehicle and detained Davis while they conducted a search. Inside the vehicle they found several items including clothing, a purse and a CD player. They also found several tools including a hammer, screwdrivers and a flashlight along with a ski mask.

Davis was taken to Bell County Jail. Her bail was set at $50,000.
