A man who was abducted from a College Station convenience store earlier this week passed away Friday after being removed from life support.

55-year-old Kevin Garcia was assaulted and forced into the bed of his pickup truck early Tuesday morning. Police say he was unconscious when they found him and his abductor in Haslet later that afternoon. Garcia suffered severe head trauma and  was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital where he remained in a coma until his death.

Garcia's family made the decision to remove him from life support Thursday evening after arrangements were made for his organs to be donated. He was pronounced dead around 1:30 p.m. Friday.

36-year-old Nathaniel Tillery has been charged with aggravated kidnapping and is being held on $520,000 bond. Police have not yet said if he'll face further charges after Garcia's death.
