In my opinion, there is nothing more frustrating than buying a bunch of bananas, and then half of them start to turn brown before you can eat them. Justin Sun, a cryptocurrency entrepreneur bought one banana, and he made sure that he ate it before it went bad. He spent a lot of money on the banana, so I don't blame him for making sure he ate it.

I will, however, judge Sun harshly for how much he spent on the banana. The banana was an art piece called Comedian, and Justin Sun purchased it from Sotheby's auction house for $6.2 million dollars. Sun's purchase included a certificate of authenticity that gave him the right to duct-tape a banana to a wall and call it "Comedian".

This bidding for "Comedian" began at $800,000, and the increase of the bids went into the multi-millions within minutes. Many people wondered if the banana was actually art, a prank, or just a symbol of the excess of the art market. Personally, I think it was a waste.

Mr. Sun earned his money, and he is free to spend it however he wants to spend it. I just feel like there are much better things that could be purchased for over $6 million. You could build a dog park, you could buy Christmas presents for every needy kid in a small town, or you could even purchase VIP tickets and backstage passes to one of my shows!what

In the end Justin Sun decided to spend millions on a banana, and he ate it. After taking a bite out of the banana at a news conference he told the reporters, "It's much better than other bananas. It's really quite good."

I have about 8 bananas in my freezer that I've been saying I'm going to make banana bread with because I left them out for too long. I may just label them art and see what I can get for them!
