Man Trying to Swallow Cocaine Charged

Edwrick Quentria Bass has been charged with felony drug possession after he was allegedly caught trying to swallow cocaine in the Killeen city jail.

Bass was taken into custody when an officer found drug paraphernalia in his pocket during a traffic stop.

At the jail, an officer noticed a white substance in Bass's mouth. Pressure was applied to his throat to prevent him from swallowing it. The substance tested positive as cocaine and weighed 0.3 grams.

He was charged with possession of cocaine, less than one gram. His bond was set at $20,000.
