Michael Jordan will present Baylor University Head Women's Basketball Coach Kim Mulkey at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class 2020 ceremony.

Mulkey, a three-time NCAA National Championship coach, joins eight other basketball legends for the Class of 2020. Those being inducted along with Mulkey are:

- FIBA executive Patrick Baumann
- 18-time NBA All-Star and five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant
- 10-time WNBA All-Star and four-time Olympic gold medalist Tamika Catchings
- 15-time NBA All-Star and three-time NBA Finals MVP Tim Duncan
- 15-time NBA All-Star and nine-time NBA All-Defensive First Team selection Kevin Garnett
- Five-time Division II National Coach of the Year Barbara Stevens
- Four-time collegiate National Coach of the Year Eddie Sutton
- Two-time NBA Champion coach Rudy Tomjanovich

According to KWTX, "Mulkey is the only person to win an NCAA national championship as a player, assistant coach and head coach and led the Lady Bears to national championships in 2005, 2012 and 2019."

Mulkey is also an Olympic Gold Medalist, winning Gold in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

The Class of 2020 Enshrinement Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 15 and will be at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT with more than 50 Hall of Famers in attendance.

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is in Springfield, MA . It's interesting to note that in order to qualify for Hall of Fame Induction, coaches must either be retired for at least three years, or, if they are still coaching, have coached for at least 25 years at high school level programs or higher and from 2020 on must have coached for at least 25 years and reached the age of sixty years.

In addition to winning Olympic Gold and National Championships, Mulkey has also
won the Russell Athletic/WBCA National Coach of the Year and AP College Basketball Coach of the Year in 2012 and AP College Basketball Coach of the Year in 2019.
