Miranda Lambert Enjoys ‘Girls Night’ With Shania Twain
Miranda Lambert wasn't going to miss Shania Twain's final Nashville tour stop. The "Smokin' and Drinkin'" singer was stage left as the legend played Bridgestone Arena on Friday (July 31). After the show, the two spent time chatting and hugging.
Lambert has been frequently popping up around Nashville since news of her divorce from Blake Shelton. Two days after the July 20 split, she took the stage alongside Ashley Monroe during an album release party for The Blade. Then, on July 28, she played her own set at the small club 3rd and Lindsley.
She's also been spotted at a few Music City restaurants and hot spots. Lambert says over the last several weeks she's been writing a lot, and admits caffeine and sad songs have helped get her through. Along with an image from Twain's show, Lambert used the hashtag "#musicismedicine."
As for Twain, her Nashville show is part of her Rock This Country tour, her final major tour. She sang 19 hits during her 90-minute set and performed in four different outfits. A mechanical bull and giant singalong were two highlights.
