Name a Fruit or Vegetable Without the Letter “A”

Somebody posed an interesting question to us here in the studio today: Name a fruit or vegetable that doesn’t contain the letter “a.”

Now we happen to consider ourselves perfect geniuses, but this one stumped all of us here. We racked our brains and were able to come up with a few that fit the criteria. (And no using Google, cheaters—you know who you are. ;)

Fruits without the letter “a”:

Cherry

Kiwi

Blueberry

Vegetables without the letter “a”:

Broccoli

Fennel

Celery

Onion
