Name Change Coming To The Bell County Expo Center in Belton, Texas
The Bell County Expo Center has been in existence for almost 40 years. It's been a staple for holding many events in the area, like the Bell County Comic Con for example. But recently, a name change for the venue was discussed.
Back in June of 2022, discussions were held regarding naming rights for the Expo Center. Various bids were entered for businesses to potentially sponsor the center. Now nearly a year later, the Bell County Commission has finally voted on a new name for area.
New Name For The Bell County Expo Center Coming Soon
According to FOX 44, the decision from the Bell County Commission came on May 8th, 2023. In a concordant vote, the commission sold the right to name the center to Cadence Bank. For 3 million dollars, the rights will last for 10 years.
The exact name change for the Expo Center has been revealed to be the Cadence Bank Center, according to the Killeen-Daily Herald. Soon we'll have to correct ourselves when we talk about going to events being held there, because the name won't just be the Bell County Expo Center.
Thankfully, this won't change what events go on at the center, because some of us are very excited for the Bell County Comic Con, including the fact Chuck Norris will be attending the 2023 event.
