NFL Draft Scammers Lied About Raising Money For Fallen Dallas Officer

Police are searching for a man and woman who stood outside AT&T Stadium in Arlington during the 2018 NFL Draft and accepted donations they said were for the family of slain Dallas PD officer Rogelio Santander.

Dallas Police Association representatives tell the Fort Worth Star-Telegram they have no idea who the people were or where that money went. Dallas Police are asking anyone who may know about the scam to contact them at 214-747-6839. DPD says that no one gave the man or woman in the photos permission to raise funds or accept donations on behalf of the officer of his family. Here is another look at the DPD photo of the suspects.
