Some Central Texans have been sharing a hilarious story about a woman stuffing her face with thousands of dollars worth of food while working at Taco Bell. We hate to ruin the fun, but the story is fake.

The article comes from WorldNewsDailyReport.com, which specializes in satirical stories that occasionally pop one of our local cities into their headlines.

According to their piece, a former Taco Bell employee in Waco was "charged with 960 accusations of petty theft, 3 charges of public misconduct and one charge of drug possession" after eating "at least twelve tacos on each of her work shifts" over five years.

While we wish this story was true (because c'mon, that's funny!), it's clearly a joke.

One clue is the disclaimer at the bottom of the website: "World News Daily Report assumes all responsibility for the satirical nature of its articles and for the fictional nature of their content. All characters appearing in the articles in this website – even those based on real people – are entirely fictional and any resemblance between them and any person, living, dead or undead, is purely a miracle."

Another big clue are some of the charming headlines you'll see on the siderail, including "DRUNK SCHOOL PRINCIPAL DEFECATES IN FRONT OF STUDENTS DURING PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE", "TEENAGER SUES HIS PARENTS FOR $250,000 FOR NAMING HIM GAYLORD", and "MAN LOCKED INSIDE A SUPERMARKET FOR A NIGHT EATS $8,000 WORTH OF FOOD", and those are just some of the tame ones.

Kudos to World News Daily Report for at least having the decency to tell people they're a satirical site, even if it's only at the bottom of each page. Many fake news sites don't do you the courtesy, so it takes some common sense and a good sense of humor to share them as a joke and not out of legitimate concern.
