It's not a riot - it's Killeen. Better bring more than one Texas Ranger.

KWTX is reporting that the Texas Rangers have been called in to investigate an officer involved shooting in Killeen Friday night that involved an ambulance crash.

Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Cross Timber Drive at 6:23 p.m. Friday evening to assist EMS.

When they arrived, the EMS vehicle was involved in a crash. Police say a man charged toward an officer, forcing said officer to discharge a weapon.

It's now known if the man was shot, but he was taken to the hospital.

Things don't seem to being getting calmer even, with a new police chief.
