Pat Green Talks Salado, Temple, Belton at Johnny’s Outback
Pat Green put on a great performance at Johnny's Outback in Salado on Saturday!
Early in the show, we got to meet Pat's dog named Friday. Green then addressed the crowd sitting on the lawn about why it's important to stand at the beginning of the concert. It's all about participation.
Pat also talked about how Salado is so different than Temple and waaay different than Belton.
Pat Green fans know that Pat's 3 Grammy nominations can sometimes be a sore spot during a conversation. Pat reminded the crowd that he lost Grammy nods to Johnny Cash and to Alan Jackson over the years. He explained to the crowd how they could both kiss his ass. Green then dawned a tiara that he picked up from someone in the front row and wore the bling for the better part of the song "3 Days". Pat even gave the guys in Mason Lively a thrill when he snuck out on stage to play drums during the opening acts final number.
We had a blast on Saturday as we always do. Come back to Johnny's Outback for more fun June 23rd when the Lone Star Music Series welcomes William Clark Green. Tickets are just $15 in advance at Heights Lumber in Harker Heights, Smallcakes in Temple, or at Johnny's Outback in Salado.
