The Bell County Sheriff's Office is investigating a stabbing, shooting, and fire which occurred at the same residence in Killeen on Monday night.

Officers responded to a call at 7:30 p.m. at a home on Chaparral Road.

They found a man inside who had been shot in the face. While arranging treatment, officers found the man's wife, who had been stabbed. They also discovered that the house was on fire.

The man was airlifted to Scott & White Hospital in Temple and his wife was taken to Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. Both are suffering from life threatening injuries.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire, but it is not known how badly the house has been damaged.

The Bell County Sheriff's Office reports that there has been a history of domestic issues at the residence.

Names of the victims have not been released.
