KCENTV is reporting shots have been fired at Ben Taub Hospital in the Texas Medical Center in Houston.

Police entered the building with guns drawn while helicopters are circled above the building Tuesday afternoon. In addition to police, SWAT and K9 units have also joined officers at the scene of the possible shooting.

KCENTV is also reporting that Baylor University School of Medicine also put out a tweet warning students to stay away from Ben Taub in Houston.

One witness standing outside the hospital explained to the press that they had been told there was a gunman on the second floor, but that witness said they did not hear any shots before they evacuated the building.

News crews have been told to wait across the street from the hospital as a safety precaution until a complete search is concluded and the all clear is given.
