My grandmother used to complain about words that were once used that had become unacceptable to use in modern society.  Before your minds wander too much, it was "gay".  She felt as if the word had been stolen from her.  I'm sure, looking back, all those involved in these very old commercials would word things differently.  Not since the emergence of the now infamous Schweddy Balls has a product so captured the essence of unfortunate naming.

 

 

 

There have been many writers over the years whose work lives on well beyond their own lifetime.  The same can and will be said about all those fine advertising folks that came up with, "you, your girl and your Johnson".  After all, it's a way of life.  Apparently.
