US105 has Free Tickets to Ribs & Rods Car Show & Cook Off

Mark your calendars for November 5 & 6, as US 105 Welcomes Ribs & Rods to Bend 'O The River Park in Temple.

And YES, we have your chance to win free tickets!

Get ready for two days of pure fun with lots of cool stuff for hot rod enthusiasts, BBQ lovers, and even the kiddos.

Ribs & Robs is brought to you by Don Ringler Chevrolet and Toyota, and benefits The Ronald McDonald House.

If you're new to the area, this is two days of hot rods and customs on display, along with copious amounts of BBQ. In fact, there's a rib eating contest that Saturday at 12:30 PM.

There'll be plenty of cool stuff for the kids as well, with a children's tot-rod contest and coloring contests.

Gates open Friday night at 5 PM, with live music from Matt Cearley and the Rowdy Few starting at 6:30 PM. That'll be followed by a drive-in style outdoor screening of the classic Back to the Future at 8 PM.

Gates open on Saturday at 9 AMwith live music from 'Sharp Dressed Men', a ZZ Top Tribute band starting at 10 AM.

Did I mention lots and lots of BBQ?

I think I did, plus the Chug-a-Lug and Rib Eating contests. BBQ Cook-Off awards are on Saturday at 4 PM, with the Car Show awards at 5 PM.
Both days will be a blast for the whole family!

Tickets are $10 to get in and $30 to show off your vehicle. Kids 12 and under are in for free. All the details, including an event map, can be found by clicking HERE.
